Looking for a quick and easy dip recipe for your game night everyone will love? Look no further! This avocado hummus is not only delicious but also comes together in 5 minutes!
I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s just into the food when it comes to game night. I don’t really know who’s playing most of the times, but you can always find me snacking along the entire time. Yeah, that mindless eating I keep saying I need to stop ….
Of course, there are lots snacks you can munch on during the game, but how about one you don’t feel guilty asking for seconds?
This avocado hummus fits the bill! It’s quick and easy and, if you ask me, it’s a sneaky way to increase your veggie intake.
For this avocado hummus I used a blend of chickpeas and ripe avocado, but, as an added bonus I substituted most of the oil with Silk unsweetened almond milk. Don’t roll your eyes and hear me out!
Silk almond milk has fewer calories than olive oil and the addition of avocado brings in good fats.
In addition to the avocado, chickpeas, olive oil and almond milk, you’ll also need minced garlic, tahini, a touch of cumin (optional), salt and pepper. That’s all!
Once you have all the ingredients, place them in the food processor and pulse until smooth and creamy! That’s it! A couple of ingredients and about 5 minutes and you’ve made yourself a healthy yummy dip just perfect for game night!
