Recipe Request

Do you have a recipe you’d love for me to create? That’s wonderful! I’m always up for a challenge!

First, please check the recipe index to make sure I didn’t already shared it or something very similar.

If you’re absolutely sure I did not, please leave your request in the comments below.

Please specify the name of the recipe/dish! Asking me to recreate a dessert you had at that local eatery only you and 5 other people know about it, it’s not going to help.

Please be as specific as possible.

List any ingredients you think are needed to recreate it.

Let me know if it’s something available nationwide (a recipe from a chain restaurant or grocery store) or something that’s been in your family for generations and you lost that hand written recipe card. Or maybe it was a magazine clipping. Do you remember what magazine?

Please understand I can not guarantee I will share the recipe you requested. It all depends on how many requests I receive each month and how many details you can give me about the recipe.

Thanks,

Roxana

Hi Sue, could you give me more details about the recipe? I have a lemon bar recipe already on the blog. http://atreatsaffair.com/lemon-bars-recipe/ Are you looking for something similar but with a crumble/streusel topping? Roxana

Hi, I was directed to this website for a recipe for Rolo Brownie Bites. All I know is that they had an Oreo biscuit base and used Rolo chocolate sweets. Do you still have this recipe by any chance - it sounds delicious. So many thanks.

Hi Sonja, The recipe page got lost when I rebranded, but here's the recipe ingredients and directions. Garlic Parmesan Bubble Buns Ingredients Dough: 4 cups carbalose flour (a special high-fiber, low carb flour) 2/3 cup vital wheat gluten 1 tsp salt 1 cup whole milk, lukewarm (about 110F) 1 cup water, lukewarm (abut 110F) 2 packages rapid rise yeast 2 large eggs, lightly beaten Coating: 6 tbsp butter, melted 3 cloves garlic, minced 2 tbsp dried parsley flakes ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese Directions Preheat oven to 200F for 10 minutes and then turn oven off. In a medium bowl, stir together carbalose flour, gluten flour and salt. Set aside In the bowl of your mixer, combine milk and water. Sprinkle yeast over and mix well. Mix in egg until combined. With the mixer on low speed, slowly add flour mixture until combined. Dough may be quite sticky, but do not add any more flour. With greased hands, shape dough into a smooth ball and place in a lightly greased bowl. Cover tightly with plastic wrap. Place in warm oven for 30-45 minutes, or until doubled in size. Meanwhile, combine melted butter, garlic and parsley flakes. When dough is risen, turn out dough onto a lightly floured surface. Divide into 18 equal portions. Cut each portion into five small pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and dip into butter mixture, then sprinkle with a pinch of Parmesan cheese. Place 4 dough balls at the bottom of a muffin pan. Use fingers to make a small well in the center of the balls and place the fifth dough ball in the center, sitting slightly higher than the others. Repeat with remaining dough. Return buns to warm oven and let rise 30 to 45 minutes. Remove from oven, and increase temperature to 350F (375F if you are using Roxana’s dough). Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
