Cookies and milk. Every Christmas Eve all the kids have one important thing to remember. Set a plate of cookies and a glass of cold milk for Santa.

I’ve always wondered why we leave cold milk instead of a cup of hot cocoa or tea. After all, it’s cold outside, he could use a hot drink, don’t you think?

The cookies. I understand. It’s not easy job going around the world, visiting every child, going up and down the chimney. Yes, he needs the cookies! But the cold milk?

This year I’m changing things up.  I’ll wait for Santa with a cup of hot chocolate and a tray full of these delicious hot chocolate and marshmallows cookies!! He’ll be so pleased, I’ll always be at the top of the nice list.
