These crackers …. they are beyond words! Easy to make, irresistible and totally addictive! You won’t be able to stop at one!

I love throwing parties and having friends over, may it be for a improptu bash or an invite-only dinner. Obviously, I’m always looking for ideas to impress my guests so they don’t get bored with the same appetizers every time they visit. Yes, I love hosting wine and cheese parties, but sometimes, there’s the need for just a little more. Like the new year party coming up in just a few days!

Add these whipped cheese spread crackers to your menu! They will be gone before we ring in the new year and everyone will be talking about them! 3 ingredients whipped cheese spread recipe

To make the whipped cheese spread you’ll need 3 ingredients – cream cheese, butter and grated Jarlsberg cheese.

I love adding Jarlsberg cheese to this spread. Its mild and nutty taste gives a little extra something to the plain cream cheese and butter spread.

When grating the Jarlsberg cheese, make sure you use a small cheese grater. I prefer this cheese grater from OXO but you can also use a zest grater. Please do not use a coarse grater or your cheese spread will turn out lumpy.

Here’s a little extra tip to remember when grating the Jarlsberg cheese – keep it in the freezer for 20-30 minutes before grating it. It works so much easier when the cheese is cold!

While you have the Jarlsberg cheese in the freezer, don’t forget to place the cream cheese and butter on the counter so they become soft, making creaming them a breeze! 3 ingredients whipped cheese spread recipe

To make the cheese spread just place the cream cheese, butter and the grated Jarlsberg cheese in a mixer and beat until smooth and creamy. At this point you can beat in seasonings to fit your liking – fresh or dried herbs, spices, garlic and onion powder, freshly cracked pepper or just leave it plain and use different toppings just before serving.

Here you can go crazy! There are so many irresistible combos! This time I did 60% chocolate pieces, cooked bacon pieces, fresh kiwi and a dust of paprika. You can also use grapes, berries, apples, pears, figs, dried fruit, white chocolate, chives (my favorite) or other fresh herbs, olives, crumbled blue cheese, roasted or fresh vegetables, sun-dried tomatoes, chopped nuts just to name a few!

Thank you for such a great recipe...and so easy and beautiful. Just wondering what size tip you used to decorate with the spread? Love all three recipes you shared here. Again, thanks.
